Banana Beef Ragout

Ingredients
- 800g beef stew
- 2 tablespoons palm oil
- 2 finely chopped onions
- 1 green pepper
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 apple
- 3 bananas
- 5 dl beef broth
- 1 tbsp curry
- Freshly ground pepper
Preparation
- Sear the meat on all sides in the sizzling palm oil, add the onions and steam them briefly
- Wash the pepper, shell it and cut it into strips
- Cut the tomatoes into eight and the apple into thin strips. Add to meat, deglaze with broth
- Sprinkle with curry and braise short over low heat for about 40 minutes. Cut the bananas into slices about 1 cm wide and gently fold them into the meat
- Heat briefly and dress on the serving platter
- Serve with couscous or rice
